We continue to experience significant growth and require the assistance of an experienced Intake Paralegal. This role will assist in facilitating prospective clients through the intake process and ensure a seamless intake experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized tech-savvy and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial client intake interviews via phone email or in person as needed.
Gather and document critical case facts contact information and relevant legal issues.
Enter and maintain accurate client data in the firms CRM and case management system.
Conduct preliminary conflict checks.
Schedule consultations for attorneys and provide follow-up communication with potential clients.
Prepare and send engagement letters and retainer agreements to new clients.
Assist with client onboarding and transition to case teams.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure timely response to client inquiries.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant preferably in an intake or client-facing role at a law firm
Familiarity with legal terminology and legal intake processes.
Experience using case management software (e.g. Clio NetDocs etc.).
Exceptional formal writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
