Job Description
NOW HIRING: EXTRUSION OPERATOR NIGHT SHIFT $17.00 PER HOUR
Location: Calhoun GA
Schedule: D-Shift ThursdaySaturday 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Quality Staffing Inc. a trusted leader in employment solutions is actively seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join a premier manufacturing team in Calhoun GA. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are hands-on detail-oriented and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor extrusion machines including rolls switches heaters and aspirators
- Properly thread and re-thread yarn paths on the machines
- Perform quality checks on yarn including shade air tack labels and winding
- Doff winders label finished product and prepare yarn for packaging
- Assist with product and spin pack changes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Accurately complete logs and report discrepancies to leadership
- Support team members and take on additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
- Ability to read safety instructions and operational procedures
- Basic math and strong attention to detail
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Dependability and punctuality are a must
- Must have extrusion operator experience
