Overview of Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pensions Team of one of the worlds largest independent financial advisory groups here in the City of London.
The successful candidate is likely to be a recent school or college leaver who has an interest in beginning a career in Pensions. The role requires someone who is enthusiastic engaged and adaptable and can work in a fast-paced environment.
You will be supported by a mentor and formally report into the Pensions Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support for the UK and Overseas pension schemes.
Monitor the Pensions Team inbox ensuring all queries are responded to or appropriately delegated in a timely manner.
Manage the filing scanning and organisation of pension-related documentation.
Print and prepare pre-drafted letters ensuring correct formatting and presentation.
Coordinate meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
Arrange travel and manage expense submissions for the team.
Support bulk distribution of post and email communications.
Oversee the process for arranging flowers or charitable donations for special occasions or bereavements.
Assist with the retirement process including generating retiree reports and coordinating retirement course bookings.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of pension-related events.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
Provide general administrative support to the Pension Manager and the Head of Pensions & Benefits including diary management.

IT skills
Ability to work with computers and systems and to problem solve using technology. Some familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint would be a desirable but not essential.
