Commissions AnalystPosition Overview
The Commissions Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of commission data overseeing quality control supporting plan testing and preparing earnings data for payroll. This role requires strong analytical skills experience with large data sets and advanced data retrieval capabilities to audit and investigate commission calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for first level commission approval for payroll.
Responsible for Quality Control Audits requires validation and monitoring of daily commission results for accuracy and completeness.
Research inquiries and resolve data and plan issues this can involve collaborating across multiple business units. This could include preparing and submitting adjustments as necessary. Ability to grant accommodations up to designated dollar amount.
Collaborate across departments including payroll to ensure timely and accurate earnings submissions.
Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders
Routinely perform end-user testing by assuming the specific roles of different users (e.g. sales rep manager payroll) to ensure reporting accuracy user experience quality and system readiness.
Assist in the implementation and testing of new commission plans or system changes.
Document processes and help develop automation for recurring tasks.
Generate periodic reports and dashboards for leadership visibility.
Ensure Guarantees are loaded and audited
Ensure Agent payments are submitted for payment
Proficiently use appropriate tools (SQL Excel ETL etc) to analyze and transform data identify discrepancies and ensure accurate payments.
Monitor and complete periodic high-level audits of commission systems
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Finance Business or a related field is preferred
3 years in compensation analysis finance or sales operations.
Advanced data retrieval capabilities (SQL API) and Excel skills (pivot tables lookups complex formulas).
Experience with commissions or cloud-based platforms a plus
Strong analytical problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Experience with data auditing and payment reconciliation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
