Element has an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician who will support the Huntington Beach testing facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance providing a high level of troubleshooting maintenance issues in a safe and efficient manner.
Salary: $22- $28/hr DOE
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for:
Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize machine downtime and ensure continuous production
Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on testing & facilities equipment to quickly resolve maintenance issues and restore functionality
Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment in the department
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including repairs inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines ensuring a safe working environment for all employees
Conduct repairs on machinery to maintain operational efficiency
Support other facility repairs as needed
Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components for timely repairs
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and machine reliability

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance (hydraulic equipment maintenance would be advantageous. e.g. replacing servo valves piston seals etc.)
Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on variety of equipment types
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
