Interim Associate Director of Student Engagement under general direction oversees the planning coordination development and execution of University policies procedures and practices relating to the comprehensive scope of Student Engagement.
This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities:
Designs implements and evaluates student leadership opportunities that enhance learning involvement in campus life leadership development and success outside the classroom.
Plans coordinates develops and executes University policies procedures and practices relating to student leadership programs.
Develops monitors and manages the departmental budget to ensure effective fiscal management; trains and advises departmental organization that facilitate the mission of the Office of Student Engagement.
Assists in the development and support of partnerships with academic and student life departments to create and enhance student learning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Eight years of related experience.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing spreadsheet and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ten years of related experience in an educational and/or community setting.
