Department Overview

Video Solutions teams in the R&D center in Krakow have been growing dynamically since 2019. Currently we have more than 150 specialists on board working on solutions for fixed cameras video analytics video management systems as well as access control.

We bring advanced video and analytics capabilities to public safety and commercial customers including healthcare airports retail critical infrastructure and public venues. Video is no longer reactive looking back at what has taken place but it also informs proactively issuing alerts in real-time when a person object or vehicle appears or a perimeter is crossed. This critical intelligence enables users to take the right action more quickly.

Job Description

The Krakow Alta Video Team is excited to offer an internship opportunity for a motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join our team as a Front-End Web Intern. Youll help us develop our web applications which are primarily built using Vue 3 and TypeScript. While prior experience with these specific technologies isnt required it would certainly be a plus. The most important thing is your willingness to learn and your passion for front-end web development.

Our user interfaces involve a wide range of interesting and technically challenging features that youll have the chance to help shape and improve:

• Assisting with rendering high-resolution video in a performance-critical environment

• Supporting efforts to work with large volumes of data in a performant way within the UI

• Helping to design and implement new UI components

• Investigating and suggesting improvements for performance and scalability as new features are added

This role involves working closely with a team of Avigilon Alta developers based in London and backend developers located in Krakow. Were looking for a team player who enjoys solving complex problems is eager to learn and isnt afraid to seek guidance and input from teammates when needed.

Basic Requirements

• Passion for front-end web development and a strong desire to learn more about modern web technologies

• Good understanding of web fundamentals

• Good JavaScript knowledge

• Interest in designing and implementing user interfaces

• Willingness to collaborate closely with colleagues in product management UX and backend development

• Eagerness to improve and optimize applications in terms of performance maintainability and user experience

• A strong attitude towards continuous learning and staying current with technological advancements

• Proficiency in English

• Availability 32 hours per week or Full Time

• At least one year cooperation (Contract of Employment only)

• Availability to work 2 days a week from our office in Krakw (Czerwone Maki 82)

• Knowledge of TypeScript and Vue2/Vue3 will be beneficial
