Your opportunity
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team on a fixed term basis for 6 months with the possibility of this extending beyond the 6 months.
As a Finance Manager you will work as part of the finance team led by the Finance Partner to deliver an expert service to our schools including:
- managing the delivery of the monthly management reports
- overseeing transactional processing within the academies
- preparing and monitoring budgets
- liaising with school-based colleagues as required
We can offer hybrid working or you can choose to be fully based at one of our regional offices at either The Beacon School Banstead or Pine Ridge & Lorraine School Camberley.Regular visits to schools in the region will be necessary. We are looking for someone to work 30-36 hours a week 43 weeks a year (term time plus 4 weeks) but also open to hearing from professionals looking to work 52 weeks. Please specify in your Personal Statement your preferred hours.
What we are looking for
- AAT qualified and beyond or QBE with relevant experience
- Experience of producing financial accounts using financial systems
- Experience of working within the education or charity sector
- Experience of working within a Finance Department
- Experience of producing regular forecasts

The Details
Salary:Senior Specialist 33426 FTE (salary to be pro-ratad depending on working hours agreed)
Pro rate salary: for 30 hours a week: 26421.28 for 36 hours a week: 31705.54
Contract type: Fixed term for 6 months
