Contracts Manager
Location: Rotherham (Hybrid Working Available)

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our clients commercial team. Based in Rotherham with the flexibility of hybrid working this role will manage the full lifecycle of service contracts from creation and renewal to performance tracking and client engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute individual who thrives on responsibility values accuracy and can build strong professional relationships across all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage creation renewal and administration of service and validation contracts
- Set up new projects sites and equipment within the Microsoft AX system
- Load expire and log agreements accurately and on time
- Raise service orders and perform periodic contract invoicing
- Analyse trends related to margins and profitability
- Prepare and report KPIs for key accounts
- Provide support in tender submissions and framework agreements
- Ensure timely handling of customer complaints and queries
- Liaise regularly with NHS Supply Chain holding review meetings
- Maintain close communication with the Field Service Manager for new contracts
- Oversee service contract renewals ensuring timely receipt of purchase orders
- Assist the Commercial Excellence Manager in internal quality audits and document control
- Inform senior management of operational challenges that may impact contracts
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage invoicing for breakdowns and remedial works
- Track and manage call-off purchase orders
- Conduct market research to identify contract opportunities with existing equipment users
- Attend customer and supplier meetings including off-site visits
- Contribute to Commercial Excellence initiatives and continuous improvement
Person Specification
Essential:
- Strong experience in contract management or a related commercial role
- Highly numerate with strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Confident communicator who can present professionally to stakeholders at all levels including Managing Directors and contractors
- Excellent conflict resolution skills with a calm solution-focused approach
- Personable and able to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Strong written skills for drafting and reviewing contracts and proposals
- Experience working with Microsoft AX or a similar ERP system
Desirable:
- Experience working with or alongside NHS supply chains or healthcare providers
- Understanding of service delivery within a technical or engineering environment
- Familiarity with KPI reporting and performance-based contracts
