Job Title: Systems Administrator
Summary
Were seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator for our client based in Ann Arbor MI. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on skilled administrator eager to support optimize and scale complex IT infrastructure. Youll be instrumental in implementing and maintaining mission-critical systems with a high focus on security uptime and performance.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as a System Administrator in a Windows-based environment.
- Proficiency in Active Directory Azure AD VMware/Hyper-V Office365 and Microsoft Server environments.
- Install configure administer and maintain enterprise systems including:
- Windows Server 2012R2 2019
- Active Directory Azure AD
- VMWare Hyper-V Exchange IIS SQL Server Office 365
- Manage system software upgrades service packs patches and security hotfixes.
- Strong technical expertise with firewalls networking system backups and virtualization.
- Experience with system & network diagnostics analytics and monitoring tools.
- Maintain switches firewalls routers VPNs load balancers Wi-Fi and other network infrastructure.
- Povide support for LAN/WAN/CAN environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
- Strong collaboration and user-support mindset.
- CompTIA (Network Security etc.)
- Microsoft Certified: MCTS MCSE or newer Microsoft role-based certs
- Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)
- Certifications in virtualization storage or networking technologies
- Related vendor-specific certification for network/firewall appliances
