Job Summary:
This role is for a Cath Lab Technician responsible for providing technical support during cardiac catheterization procedures. The technician will perform a variety of tasks including scrubbing monitoring and assisting with procedures. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience and specific certifications. A rotating on-call schedule including weekends is required.

Responsibilities:
- Scrubbing monitoring and assisting during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Operating and maintaining medical equipment such as PA lines and telemetry.
- Assisting with procedures including balloon angioplasty PCI stents thrombectomy Impella insertion left & right heart catheterization and Rotablader.
- Performing IV starts (preferred).
- Performing conscious sedation (preferred).
- Assisting with Watchman Procedures Septal Closure Ablations Coil Embolization and Filter Placement (preferred).
- EKG rhythm interpretation.
- Working in a 3-room Cath Lab setting.
- Responding to on-call requests including weekends.
- Floating to EP (rarely).
- Charting in EPIC and MAC Lab systems.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
- Experience with Scrub Monitor PA Lines and Telemetry.
- Experience with Balloon Angioplasty PCI Stents Thrombectomy Impella insertion Left & Right Heart Catheterization and Rotablader.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- At least one of the following certifications: RCIS or ARRT.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience circulating.
- IV start skills.
- Conscious sedation experience.
- Experience with Watchman Procedures Septal Closure Ablations Coil Embolization and Filter Placement.
- EKG rhythm interpretation experience.
Special Considerations:
- No RTO (Return to Office) is allowed after booking.
- Call offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.
- 4 x 10-hour days 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday.
- On-call with callback and weekend call required (9-11 days in a 6-week schedule 1-2 weekends depending on rotation).
- Floating to EP may be required but is rare.
- Unit has a patient holding area within the Cath Lab.
- Orientation start date is flexible (Wednesday Thursday or Friday of the first week) and requires full availability. Missing any portion of orientation may delay or cancel the start date. The final start date will be confirmed the Tuesday before the start week.
- Scrubs are provided.
Scheduling:
- 40 hours per week.
- 4 ten-hour shifts per week.
- 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday.
- Rotating on-call schedule including weekends.
