Job Description
This role is for a Mammography Technologist responsible for performing mammograms breast biopsies and contrast-enhanced procedures. The position may require floating between units within a short-term acute care/Level III trauma center. Prior experience with breast biopsy and contrast-enhanced procedures is preferred but not required.
- Performing breast biopsies (preferred but not required).
- Performing contrast-enhanced procedures (preferred but not required).
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Charting patient information (using Epic).
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Current licensure in the state of employment.
- Experience with contrast-enhanced procedures.
- No weekend requirements.
- No block scheduling.
- 1:1 patient ratio.
- Floating between units may be required.
- Works in a short-term acute care/Level III trauma center.
