Email Marketing Manager

The Email Marketing Manager will support the company-wide database marketing efforts both in strategy and execution. S/he will manage the day-to-day operations of a variety of email campaigns e-newsletters opt-in strategy and other areas of our expanding email marketing plans. Requires good analytical skills to filter prioritize and/or consolidate requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Execute email marketing best practices
• Build edit and update email templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
• Create the strategic vision of journeys or ad hoc campaigns including lead generation revenue generating campaigns informational sends etc.
• QA (review) and deploy email campaigns or journeys using SFMC
• Collaborate with marketing managers designers copywriters and project manager to see the project through the process deployment and analysis
• Provide reporting on email campaigns including email stats web analytics and direct revenue where applicable
• Continuously build upon previous success to learn and drive additional revenue (including A/B testing personalization etc.)
• Work alongside Director to champion SFMC to maximize its value leveraging existing and new features
• Collaborate with other departments (Revenue Management E-Commerce on-property staff Social Media etc.) to close the communication loop and ensure a consistent cohesive message is delivered to our guests
• Curious about email trends or audience segmentation to explore ideas with a determination to grow the database and revenue
• Maintain the email send calendar and meet deadlines for target launch dates     
• Other duties assigned

Experience:

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in email marketing
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM CCPA and GDPR email regulations
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Email Studio Automation Studio Journey Builder and Advertising Studio
• Experience with SQL
• Familiarity with HTML and AMPscript

• Experience in the Hospitality/Tourism industry preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced work environment
• Ability to problem solve and pay meticulous attention to detail
• Adept at multi-tasking
• BA/BS preferred
