Job Description
WKBN-TV in Youngstown Ohio has an opening for a motivated goal-oriented individual to join our team as aPart-Time Production Associate. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment enjoys variety in their work and can adapt to a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate studio and remote cameras for newscasts sporting events and shoots for commercials promotions and public service announcements.
- Create on-air graphics for television newscasts and digital platforms.
- Input content and data into our websites.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Strong artistic sense and computer proficiencyexperience with Photoshop is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems is helpful but not required.
- Background in television or post-production is a bonus but not required.
What Were Looking For:
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once prioritize assignments and consistently meet tight deadlines.
- A team player who communicates effectively and collaborates well with anchors video journalists videographers producers and technical staff.
- A working knowledge of TV production processes is helpful.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Were open to candidates who are still working toward their degrees.
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure fast-paced environment.
