NOW HIRING: Dining Services Team Member (Wait Staff II)
Location: Friendsview Retirement Community Newberg OR
Pay: $15.96 $18.20/hr
Schedule:Monday - Sunday 4 pm - 7 pm
Friday - Sunday 6:30 am -2 pm or 4 pm- 7 pm.
Variable hour shifts Weekend availability required
About the Role
Looking for a job that matters and fits your life Join the Dining Services team at Friendsview where youll provide high-quality friendly service to residents in our health care areas no previous experience needed! With training provided youll learn to serve meals and create a welcoming environment that brings joy to our residents dining experience.
This isnt fast food. Its fine dining with heart.
What Youll Do
Serve meals with warmth and professionalism
Reset and clean tables using proper sanitizing procedures
Engage with residents about food and ingredients
Help maintain a clean and safe dining space
Report safety concerns to your supervisor
Uphold high standards of respect service and teamwork
Follow HIPAA guidelines & maintain residents privacy
What Were Looking For
Age 15 or previously trained as Wait Staff I
Willing to complete training for Wait Staff II
Friendly team-oriented and ready to learn
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Respectful and kind to older adults
Able to speak and read basic English
Oregon Food Handlers card (or willing to get one)
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Previous customer service or food service experience
Interest in hospitality healthcare or human services
Patience empathy and a strong sense of community
