Job Description

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP has an immediate need for an associate with 2-4 years of general litigation experience to join our growing Litigation group in our Washington DC office. We are looking for candidates interested in becoming members of our Business Trial and Litigation Group which represents clients in their most consequential commercial disputes. Qualified candidates will have experience drafting pleadings and motions preparing for depositions and court appearances and communicating with opposing counsel. A desire to appear in court a positive team-first mentality and confident oral advocacy skills are required. We try cases across the country and are looking for associates interested in working in small collaborative teams. Candidates should be in good standing with the DC Bar must have strong academic credentials and ideally will have some experience with commercial real estate construction or antitrust disputes.

This candidate must be admitted to practice the District of Columbia or be eligible to waive into the DC bar.

Washington DC pay range for this role with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience is $235000-$310000.
