Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation including case management from intake through trial or settlement.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including complaints discovery requests and responses subpoenas notices and motions.
  • Coordinate depositions mediation scheduling hearings in state and federal courts and trials including calendaring deadlines and court appearances.
  • Organize review and summarize medical records bills and other evidence.
  • Maintain case files and update case management software.
  • Assist in trial preparation and the assembly of trial binders and exhibits.
  • Communicate with clients medical providers and expert witnesses.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of litigation experience in a Plaintiffs personal injury setting.
  • Maritime experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Proficiency with legal case management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
