We help everyday runners become outstanding by building an incredible app providing world-class training coaching and community for everyone whether youre improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon.

Were growing extremely fast! In November 2023 we closed a $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures Venrex and Creator Ventures. What Youll Be Doing:

Were looking for a talented creative and positive team player to join our highly skilled cross-functional engineering team as our first Data Analyst. You will work closely with our growth product and engineering teams to help them become truly data-driven. Your role will be both hands-on transforming complex data into clear impactful dashboards and reports and strategic empowering teams to ask better questions interpret results confidently and build a strong data culture across the company.



Requirements

What Youll Bring To The Team:

  • 2 years in an Analytics role or similar
  • Experience with quantitative methods and approaches to solving problems gained through various experiences or studies ( e.g. Computer Science Mathematics Physics Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience).
  • You have industry experience working on production ready data models as a developer or an analyst preferably in a data warehousing context.
  • Expert in SQL with experience using relational databases (e.g. MySQL / SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g. AWS DynamoDB).
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud Data Warehouse platforms (e.g. Databricks Redshift Big Query etc.).
  • Proficiency with Python scripting.
  • You have experience designing and building dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker Amazon QuickSight Tableau or similar.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and are able to clearly articulate your thoughts to technical and non-technical stakeholders through written and verbal communication.
  • Able to work within a highly-skilled engineering team in a fast-paced iterative environment
  • Enthusiasm for our ways of working which include:
    • Iterative development continuous deployment and test automation
    • Knowledge sharing pair programming collaborative design & development
    • Shared code ownership & cross-functional teams

Bonus points:

  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with AWS
  • Experienced with job orchestration frameworks (e.g. Airflow MWAA on AWS)
  • Have an interest in the health/fitness technologies

Our Interview Process:

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible and will consist of the following stages:

  1. Introductory chat with our talent team (25-minute video call)
  2. First round interview with a member of the data/platform team (30 minute video call)
  3. Take home technical task (2-4 hours to complete within a week of receiving it)
  4. Second round technical interview (1 hour video call) to discuss the take-home technical task & ask general technical questions
  5. Meet the team and in-person chat (in-person chat with data and platform teams)
