The opportunity
Are you ready to lead the charge in securing the future of cloud innovation At Hitachi Energy were looking for a visionary leader to head our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) cybersecurity strategy. This is your chance to shape the security posture of cutting-edge SaaS platforms and cloud-native environments that power global energy solutions. Youll work at the intersection of innovation and protection collaborating with top-tier teams across R&D Infrastructure and Global Security to build a secure-by-design culture. How youll make an impact
- Lead the strategic direction of five core CCOE programs including Governance and Cybersecurity
- Design and implement robust cybersecurity strategies for development and production cloud environments
- Collaborate with R&D to embed security into the software development lifecycle
- Partner with infrastructure teams to secure SaaS platforms and manage incident response
- Align cloud security policies with global standards and internal frameworks
- Drive adoption of best practices like NIST ISO 27001 and SOC 2
- Represent cybersecurity in executive-level discussions and strategic planning
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through KPIs and metrics
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines
Your background
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science or related field; Masters preferred
- 6 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity or cloud security roles
- Proven success managing cross-functional teams in complex environments
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and DevSecOps practices
- Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF ISO 27001 and regulatory standards
- Relevant certifications (CISSP CISM CCSP AWS Security) highly desirable
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
