Job Description
Purpose
AbbVies Talent Acquisition organization has an exciting opportunity for a Conference and Partnerships Recruiter to support our Finance organization within AbbVie.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment will be focused on the Finance Corporate Controller organization.
- Create and execute the Finance conference and partnership 2026 strategy for Talent Acquisition.
- Additional job duties include pre-screening candidates project management partnering with team members to develop sourcing strategies and providing talent for open positions.
- Demonstrate ability to proactively identify source and manage talent pools aligned to business priorities.
- Core responsibility is to manage open job requisitions update and manage SmartRecruiters achieve recruiting metrics and report key accomplishments. Will also compile and communicate the knowledge base industry overviews and market trends data and analytics to team members and business leaders.
- Will prepare and approve offer packages providing equity & market competitiveness data research.
- Ensure compliance to state/federal employment laws and AbbVie policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics.
- Establish a true business partnership with business line Vice Presidents hiring managers and leadership on all staffing related activities and issues.
- Establish future partnerships with external organizations and conferences to deliver on Finance talent needs.
- Attend Finance focused conferences and events throughout the year to elevate AbbVie employer value proposition.
This role will be hybrid adhering to AbbVies 3 day in office structure. Based out of our Lake County office.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required.
- 2 years recruitment experience in a competitive fast pace environment required. 5 years recruiting experience preferred.
- 1 years Finance recruiting.
- Experience working with high level stakeholders on a consistent basis- Sr. Director and Vice Presidents.
- Must project a strong business presence and have the ability to instill confidence in clients and to deliver results.
- Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience required.
- Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry recruitment experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in managing requisitions within SmartRecruiters preferred.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
