Practice Development Nurse Up to.5 hours per week

Support learning lead training and shape high-quality care for adults with complex needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse-qualified professional with a strong background in clinical training supervision and assessment looking to take a leading role in developing practice and enhancing care outcomes.

Our client supports adults living with neurological conditions acquired brain injuries and complex needs. With a strong emphasis on person-centred recovery-focused care the team is committed to continuous learning and high clinical standards and theyre looking for someone who shares that vision.

This role focuses on supporting the development of nursing and care practice across the service. Working closely with clinical teams the Practice Development Nurse will take the lead in planning and delivering high-quality training supporting professional growth and ensuring staff are equipped with the skills and confidence to deliver excellent care.

What Were Looking For

  • NMC-registered Nurse.
  • Experience in planning and delivering training within a healthcare setting.
  • Skilled in clinical supervision coaching and assessment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practice in clinical education.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach with a commitment to supporting others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design deliver and evaluate in-house training across clinical and care teams.
  • Support new starters with robust induction and competency-based learning.
  • Provide clinical supervision mentoring and reflective practice sessions.
  • Conduct assessments of clinical practice and competencies ensuring best standards are maintained.
  • Work collaboratively with managers and quality teams to identify learning needs and support continuous improvement.
  • Promote a positive learning culture and act as a role model for compassionate evidence-based care.
