Job Description
Are you looking for rewarding work supporting students personalized and individualized educational journey Mt. Tom Academy one of several alternative educational programs at CES is hiring a Social-Emotional Coach to work with individual students to build social-emotional skills and overcome obstacles to success in school. In addition to working one-on-one with students the Social-Emotional Coach will also provide coordination of services including mentoring outreach and support services to increase student and family engagement. Working collaboratively with other team members the Coach helps to design individual student success plans that will remove barriers for student academic and future position requires:
- Bachelors Degree in counseling education or related field (Masters in Social Work or Counseling is ideal but not required)
- Demonstrated counseling mentoring restorative justice practice or related experience with high school students in a student-focused setting. <;i>Education or experience working with students with learning behavioral and/or social emotional challenges.
