Job Description
As Senior Systems Engineer you will lead efforts to modernize infrastructure evaluate system designs and ensure secure scalable and interoperable solutions for complex IT systems. You will collaborate with engineers software developers and leadership to deliver innovative solutions that align with organizational goals and strategic plans.

What youll do:
- Provide assessments of infrastructure modernization and project costs design concepts and design changes.
- Evaluate and document design specifications installation instructions and system-related information.
- Collaborate with engineers and software developers to ensure compatibility of system components including COTS integration.
- Analyze and predict system performance under different operating conditions ensuring stability security and scalability.
- Plan and execute installations upgrades and technical refreshes of infrastructure components.
- Research test and verify patches and fixes ensuring secure systems.
- Communicate project information through presentations technical reports and white papers
What youll need to succeed:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
- Masters degree with 10 years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 12 years of experience.
- Certification - INCOSE ASEP or INCOSE CSEP certification.
- Must work on-site five days a week at Ft. Belvoir VA.
- Proven experience with large complex IT projects and organizations.
- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources to develop holistic solutions.
- Strong communication skills to influence high-level commanders/executives.
SALARY RANGE: $92000.00 - $129000.00
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
