Hill International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Naval & WCR Engineer to join our team
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and other team members to develop and implement effective design and construction strategies for naval and waterfront structures
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- Prepare technical reports drawings and other project documentation
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Review and approve contractor submittals and change orders
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in naval and waterfront engineering
- Travel to project sites within the MENA & Europe regions as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Naval Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in naval and waterfront engineering preferably in the MENA & Europe regions
- Strong knowledge of design standards codes and regulations related to naval and waterfront structures
- Experience with project management and budgeting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to project sites within the MENA & Europe regions
