About the job

As a Mechanical Design Engineer youll play a key role in delivering engineered solutions and supporting our existing line of tank cleaning equipment. Youll be responsible for designing components systems and plants for low-complexity projects ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer needs and industry standards.

Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding purchasing project management and engineeringto develop and refine mechanical designs that meet performance cost and quality targets. This is a hands-on detail-oriented role ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and contributing to continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid role based in Coatesville PA.

As a part of the team you will:

  • Design and improve mechanical components and systems based on performance requirements and customer feedback.

  • Evaluate the feasibility of new designs or modifications balancing cost time and technical constraints.

  • Collaborate with vendors suppliers and factory teams to resolve issues and streamline operations.

  • Perform calculations and analysis to support design decisions and ensure product performance.

  • Review test data and reports to validate that designs meet functional and safety standards.

  • Manage engineering tasks of moderate complexity across multiple projects.

What you know:

You have a Bachelors degree in Engineering Environmental Science Business or a related field (or equivalent work experience) and:

  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)

  • Willingness to occasionally work in hands-on environments (lifting 530 lbs climbing tanks using ladders)

  • Occasional travel to customer sites and/or vendors less than 5% travel annually

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The base salary for this role is typically $75000 to $105000 annually.
