Bulfinch Temps is currently hiring for Medical Assistants to work in long term temp assignment in ambulatory practices at MGH. These roles are M-F Day shift 40 hours per week. You must be available for Boston area sites north and west. Please note these roles are not benefits eligible.


Job Summary

Directs patient to exam room obtains and records accurate routine patient vital signs prepares patient for examination and assists performing procedures injections and other treatments as ordered by provider.

Essential Functions Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs weight and height.
-Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
-Record patients medical history vital statistics or information such as test results in medical records.
-Perform general office duties such as answering telephones taking dictation or completing insurance forms.
-Collect blood tissue or other laboratory specimens log the specimens and prepare them for testing.
-Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations keeping the rooms neat clean and supplies stocked
-Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
