Veterinary Reception Client Care
Location: Vancouver BC
Yaletown Animal Hospitalis growing! We are currently welcoming aVeterinary Reception/Client Careto join our dynamic team!
Thisfull-timeopportunity includes a range of responsibilities that directly attributes to the efficient and effective daily operation of the hospital. Your primary responsibility is to ensure our clients and their pets feel welcomed expertly cared for and appreciated! Additional responsibilities and qualities required for this role are:
Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
Create and upkeep client and patient records effectively
Reliably document all interactions in patients records
Ability to answer a multiline phone system
Track and schedule appointments effectively
Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up
Respond and manage email and text correspondence
Invoicing billing and processing payments
General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of client facing areas and common areas
Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks
Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality is an asset!
Must be flexible and available to work shift work (early as 7:30 AM and late as 7:30 PM) weekdays weekends and holidays.
Previous veterinary experience or graduation from an accredited Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Office Assistant program is preferred
Compensation: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour. The hourly rate range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
