Description

We are seeking an experienced leader to join Liberty Industrials Senior Management Team as aDivisional Manager. This pivotal role will be accountable for the execution of major projects ensuring outstanding safety performance and driving business growth in the East Coast region.

As a strategic leader youll mentor Project Managers form excellent customer relationships and build high-performing teams. Youll oversee large-scale multidisciplinary projects from planning to delivery manage financials and resources and contribute to high-quality tender submissions in collaboration with our Commercial Team.

Youll play a key role in championing company values and culture and identifying and pursuing new opportunities for business growth aligned with the companys mission and vision.

This role may be based in Brisbane Sydney Melbourne or Central Coast NSW.

  • Proven senior leadership skills and a high degree of capability in project execution financial management safety commercial responsibilities contracts and business development.
  • Background in a relevant heavy industrial environment.
  • Excellent market knowledge and the ability to drive growth initiatives.

The Opportunity:

  • Oversee the safe profitable and innovative delivery of projects to exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop strong customer relationships and target new business opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Mentor lead and build capability within project teams.
  • Role model safety culture and ensure the application of safety protocols throughout the division.
  • Establish quality assurance processes drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and harness effective stakeholder relationships to drive positive outcomes for customers and the business.
  • Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance across all requirements.

Your Background:

  • Extensive leadership experience (10 years) in business development and complex project delivery ideally within heavy industrial or construction sectors supported by relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Proven success building long-term client relationships and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders including C-suite executives and directors.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities negotiate contracts and align divisional goals with broader business objectives.
  • Strong analytical risk management and decision-making capabilities using data and insights to drive performance and financial outcomes.
  • Advanced financial acumen and skilled in cost control.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in innovation ESG integration and sustainable business practices with a focus on continuous improvement and industry best practice.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence mentor and collaborate across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
