What youll do
- Engage with business units to understand needs design iterative data science solutions evaluate data sources and solve complex problems using advanced techniques
- Deliver data science outputs (models data insights) efficiently within an agile framework using both local and offshore resources
- Ensure accuracy and quality of data science components delivered to internal customers
- Provide subject matter expertise in data science/ML and offer guidance to team members and stakeholders
- Work effectively with team members and leaders offering technical leadership and cross-team collaboration
What youll bring
- Strong results in a relevant technical bachelors degree e.g. statistics actuarial engineering maths (mandatory)
- Postgraduate qualification or honours (Class 1 or 2A) in data science/statistics (desired)
- Understanding of Generative AI including prompt engineering RAG and agents
- Highly valued: Experience deploying GenAI solutions in production
- Minimum 2 years in complex commercial data science or multivariate analysis
- Advanced expertise in one or more data science/analytics areas with proven delivery of complex models
- Proficient in machine learning and multivariate predictive analytics (e.g. GLMs NLP GBMs)
- Strong commitment to continuous technical learning and adaptation
