Job Title: Sr Director Compensation

This position is hybrid requiring in-office presence two days per week at the Texas Support Center currently located in Denton TX. The Support Center will be relocating to Legacy West in Plano in the fall of 2025.

Essential Function
The Sr. Director of Compensation is responsible for directing the strategic planning design implementation maintenance regulatory compliance communication and administration of all corporate-wide compensation programs consistent with the organizations human capital and companys business objectives.
Primary Duties
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Bachelors degree in human resource business preferred or equivalent combination.
Progressive compensation experience including Executive Compensation in a mid to large-size organization- 10 year plus preferred
Experience leading and developing multiple levels of compensation associates
Excellent analytical strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Oracle HCM preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint & Access. Must be able to create professional documents using Word and PowerPoint. Must be able to create spreadsheets containing formulas be able to create pivot tables and use charting
Knowledge understanding and application of Federal and State employment laws: ERISA FLMA FLSA EEO etc. required
Strong knowledge of compensation practices regulatory requirements and market trends
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification is a plus
International compensation experience is a plus
Competencies / Attributes
Excellent leadership interpersonal and management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
The work is sedentary.Typically the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers files books small parts etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices meeting and training rooms libraries and residences e.g. use of safe work practices with office equipment avoidance of trips and falls observance of fire regulations etc. The work area is adequately lighted heated cooled and ventilated.
