Job Description
Location:Albuquerque
Compensation: $25/hour (paid for actual drive time only)
Contract Type: Independent Contractor (1099 Not an Employee)
Description:
We are currently seeking Independent Contractors to provide student transportation services using Suburban-style vehicles in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. This is a part-time contract-based position ideal for individuals with a clean driving record and flexible availability during school transportation hours.
As a contractor you will be paid only for actual drive time and no benefits are offered. This is not an employee position.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport students to and from assigned locations
Maintain timely schedules and communicate any delays
Comply with all district safety and transportation protocols
Requirements:
Valid New Mexico Drivers License (Non-CDL)
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Prior transportation experience preferred
Contract Notes:
Contractors must sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
Must submit W-9 form
Paid through Accounts Payable (not payroll)
Must submit timesheets or logs for actual drive hour
