Reports to: Senior Director School & Teacher Partnerships
Department: Learning
FLSA Status: PT Hourly Regular (16-28 hours/week)

Position Overview:
Cincinnati Museum Centers (CMC) Learning Team reflects three audiences of focus: Community Engagement & Programs School & Teacher Partnerships and Museum Experience and Program Development. This position falls within the School & Teacher Partnerships team. School & Teacher Partnerships staff work with educators schools and other audiences to share informal education experiences that supplement curriculum and enrich learning. Through its Programs-on-Wheels outreach CMC reaches 40000-45000 offsite participants each year. Through field trips and Programs-at-Union Terminal CMC reaches 50000-55000 participants onsite.
Specialists for School & Teacher Partnerships present programs designed for students and groups in the community and at CMC.
The Specialist of School and Teacher Partnerships ensures that Learning programs/events: (1) Are on mission; (2) Make effective use of resources; (3) Are accessible and inclusive; and (4) Engage repeat participants and attract new ones.
Responsibilities/Duties:
  1. Initial conversation:A 15-20-minute telephone conversation with a hiring manager to discuss your interest in the role and CMC and how you can make an impact in this role and the organization.
  2. First interview:A 45-60 minute in-person interview with the hiring manager(s). This in-depth interview will focus on your skills goals and availability to determine how they align within the team and CMCs needs and to ensure that the position feels like a good fit for you.
