A bit about the service:
Brumby House based in Ryton Tyne & Wear.
Our 4-bed home will provide a safe and supportive environment for children aged 7-17 years old. Its not just a place to stay.
Were looking to recruit Residential Team Leaders wholl ensure tailored trauma-informed support is provided for each child. Our trauma-informed approach recognises and responds to the impact of trauma on the lives of our young people shaping every aspect of our care.
The focus will not just be on meeting the immediate needs of our children and young people but on creating an environment that empowers them to thrive and reach their full home is in aresidential area with a variety of local amenities with great travel links from surrounding areas and free parking.
As a Team Leader you will play a vital role in helping our young people achieve their personal goals and develop their independence.
A bit about the role
In the role of Team Leader you will be responsible for leading a team to create a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for our children. You will supervise and support residential support workers by providing guidance and training ensuring they understand and implement care plans effectively.
You also work with other professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans that addresses the specific needs of each child ensuring the safety and well-being of the children always is crucial which means adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Maintaining open effective communication with the children their families and other professionals involved in their care is also key. In addition to these responsibilities you will act as a direct cover for the registered manager in their absence. Furthermore youll handle administrative tasks such as managing rotas maintaining records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
