Job Description
Role: Nuclear Medicine Tech
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday Friday 8-Hours shift
Schedule: 40 hrs per week/5 days
Pay breakdown:
Hourly rate - $101.00 $70.00 taxable $ 31.42 non-taxable
Weekly Gross- $ 4564.00 $3150.00 taxable $ 1414.00 stipend
Job Summary:
- A Nuclear Medicine Technologist administers radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients for imaging or therapeutic purposes.
- They operate specialized equipment to capture images of organs and tissues which help physicians diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
Nuclear Medicine Tech under general supervision performs routine diagnostic procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience
- Must have a Nuclear Medicine Technologist NYS license/registration-Required
- ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine - Required
- CPR certification-Required
