Job Description

Transplant Surgeon (Permanent Role)
Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: Full-time Days 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform organ transplant surgeries with a focus on quality and patient outcomes
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of transplant candidates
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including nephrologists hepatologists transplant coordinators and support staff
  • Educate and mentor medical students residents and fellows as part of academic activities (if applicable)
  • Participate in transplant program development quality initiatives and research as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all federal state and institutional regulations related to transplantation
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery or a related specialty
  • Fellowship training in Transplant Surgery (approved by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons or equivalent)
  • Licensed for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in transplant surgery
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
