Job Description
RN - Medicine Telemetry (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Provide direct nursing care to patients on the telemetry unit according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry cardiac rhythms recognizing and responding to abnormalities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate timely documentation of patient care and observations.
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Current RN license to practice in Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not current).
- Previous experience in telemetry or medical-surgical nursing.
- Strong assessment critical thinking and communication skills.
