Job Description

RN - Med Surg Tele (Permanent Role)

Location: Grapevine TX 76051
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
  • Develop implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Adjust care plans as necessary to meet desired patient outcomes.
  • Build and maintain professional therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Educate patients families nursing staff and community members assessing learning needs and documenting progress.
  • Delegate tasks effectively following up to ensure completion.
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving strategies in collaboration with patients families and healthcare teams.
  • Recognize personal limitations and prioritize safety effectiveness and efficiency in patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with peers to achieve team goals and contribute to professional development.
  • Demonstrate commitment to community service and ongoing professional growth.
Key Success Factors:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and patient care standards procedures and best practices.
  • Understanding of nursing laws rules and ethical standards in the jurisdiction.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology disease management medications and side effects.
  • Respect for patient privacy and professional ethics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office EMR systems scheduling and payroll platforms.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
  • BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a relevant clinical setting.
