Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Opcenter Discrete Developer / Expert with a deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and hands-on experience with OPC (OLE for Process Control). The ideal candidate will have successfully led and supported MES implementations and rollouts across multiple manufacturing plants. This role involves solution development integration deployment and ongoing support in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and configure solutions using Siemens Opcenter Discrete MES.
Integrate MES with shop floor systems and automation layers using OPC UA/DA protocols.
Lead and support multi-plant MES rollouts ensuring alignment with operational and business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production automation and IT.
Provide post-deployment support issue resolution and system optimization.
Document technical specifications configurations and support procedures.
Ensure system reliability scalability and compliance with manufacturing standards.
