You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailConduct in-process and final inspections on products or materials as per quality standards.
Monitor production processes to ensure conformance to specifications.
Perform testing and analysis using tools such as micrometres callipers hardness testers etc.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
Identify defects deviations and report non-conformances to the QC Supervisor/Manager.
Assist in root cause analysis and support corrective/preventive action implementation.
Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and quality tools regularly.
Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental policies during inspections.
Participate in internal audits and compliance checks.
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Diploma / ITI / Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Chemical or relevant engineering discipline.
Certification in Quality Control/Assurance (e.g. ISO 9001 awareness) is an added advantage.
Knowledge of quality inspection tools and measuring equipment.
Familiarity with standards like ISO ASTM ASME or other relevant codes.
Strong understanding of quality assurance procedures and documentation.
Basic understanding of statistical quality control (SQC) and process capability.
Computer proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting systems.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
