Job Description
Required Skills/Experience:
- Prior experience on construction projects (5 years is preferred)
- High School degree or higher
- Work may require access to military facilities
- Technician certification (ACI ICC SCDOT or AASHTO) or the ability to obtain within 6 months
- MSHA 5000-23 Training or the ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent mathematic computational skills
- Possess good oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and well-organized
- Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary multi-office team
- Strong professional work ethic and desire to perform at a high level
- Advanced Knowledge of Soil and Concrete Laboratory testing
- Interest in working outdoors and on construction sites at all times of the year
- Basic understanding of and the ability to use hand tools
- Must be able to lift 50 - 75 pounds on an occasional basis and be physically able to negotiate construction sites climb ladders and work outside
- Strong mechanical aptitude preferred
