Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead BI & Enterprise Data Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership in designing and implementing the foundational data architecture for our Marketing Power BI Platform. This role is critical to ensuring a scalable secure and high-performance analytics environment by focusing on the core data structures and architecture before report development and ETL pipelines are scaled.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and implement a robust star schema and dimensional model tailored for marketing analytics and business performance tracking.
Define and implement a comprehensive security model aligned with organizational policies and user roles across the Power BI platform.
Lead the design and validation of enterprise-wide data architecture ensuring alignment with long-term data strategy and marketing intelligence needs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing IT and Analytics stakeholders to define data requirements standards and governance protocols.
Proactively identify architectural risks and opportunities advocating for scalable maintainable solutions.
Serve as the technical authority on data modeling integration and best practices in enterprise BI.
Ensure alignment with business goals user experience expectations and data accuracy in all architectural decisions.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 8 years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and BI Strategy preferably in Marketing or Customer Data contexts.
- Advance English Level - C1
- Expert in Azure Data Platform and Power BI enterprise implementations.
- Proven success designing and deploying star schema models across multiple source systems.
- Strong background in DAX/M development RLS implementation and performance tuning.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate technical architecture into business outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in staff augmentation or strategic consulting engagements with a focus on enablement and scalability.

Proven experience in enterprise data architecture and BI leadership, ideally in a marketing or customer analytics context. Strong command of Power BI and enterprise reporting environments. Expertise in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), metadata management, and security architecture. Deep knowledge of the Core Tech Stack (as outlined in Section IV [insert technologies here if available]). Demonstrated success in staff augmentation or high-impact consulting environments. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical strategy into actionable business outcomes. 3 4 years of experience in AI development and integration. Solid front-end development skills (React, Angular, or similar). Experience working with RESTful APIs. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure). Minimum English level: C1. Must be based in Colombia and available to work remotely.
