Consistentwith the strategic priorities of the Acero Schools the Human ResourcesAdministrator performs HR-related duties on a professional level where customerservice is paramount and work is expected to be client-focused. The HRAdministrator works closely with the Human Capital leadership team insupporting essential HR core functions. This position is responsible foradministering FMLA & leave of absences for the network assisting withbenefits coordinating HR and payroll functions working with the HRCoordinator to ensure service levels are met and will serve as a primarycontact to answer HR related questions. The HR Administrator will be a key teamplayer in Aceros Human Capital team whose priority is to provide excellentservice to employees.
-Administers varioushuman resource plans and procedures for all company personnel.
-Responsible foranswering related Collective Bargaining Agreement questions.
-The HR Administrator isthe teams payroll liaison to ensure effective workflows between the twodepartments.
-Answers HR relatedquestions for employees pertaining to HR policies procedures and benefits.
-Works closely with theHR Coordinator in ensuring that benefits administration is administeredeffectively.
-Manages WorkersCompensation for the network; works with vendors to ensure levels of serviceare being met.
-Works in a professionalclient-focused manner suitable to be the HR main point of contact for employeesat Acero.
-Works closely with theDeputy Chief of Human Capital in evaluating reports decisions and results ofdepartment in relation to established goals. Recommends new approachespolicies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of thedepartment and services performed.
-Works closely with theDeputy Chief of Human Capital in developing communication materials foremployees as needed.
-Maintains accurate andconfidential human resources records.
-During the busy hiringseason assists the Human Capital Department in conducting new employeeorientations and on-boarding to ensure employees gain an understanding ofAceros vision benefit plans and culture.
-Maintains human resourceinformation system records and compiles reports from the database.
-Maintains compliancewith federal and state regulations concerning employment.
-Be a team player andwilling to assist team members.
-Other duties as assignedby the department head as needed.
-Education:Bachelors degree in a related field: business humanresources organizational development
- Three to five years Human Resource experience thatwould provide the required knowledge skills and abilities in qualifying
- Must possess computer skills and the ability to learnHRIS system Paycor System must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge and understanding of insuranceregulations plan designs and third party record keeping/administrationrequired
- Familiarity with COBRA ERISA FMLA and related stateand federal regulations required.
