JV Field Hockey Coach
Qualifications
- Knowledge of field hockey techniques strategies and rules.
- Strong communication organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience playing and/or coaching field hockey.
- Ability to mentor motivate and provide guidance to student-athletes.
- Commitment to promoting sportsmanship and academic excellence
Certifications
- Valid CHRC
- Ensure adherence to all relevant rules regulations and safety guidelines including those set by the school district and the governing athletic association.
- Work closely with the Varsity Head Coach to ensure a cohesive and successful field hockey program.
Education
- The coach must be at least 20 years of age or a high school graduate.
Experience
- Knowledge of current coaching techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of NFHS and MPA Rules.
- Demostrate ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
- Flexible afterschool and weekend hours for scheduled games and practices.
- Travelto away games.
Reports To:Director of Athletics/Head Coach
Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District.
Evaluation: Completed annually byDirector of Athletics.
FLSA Status:Exempt/Non-exempt
