Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Design high-quality assets for social media email digital campaigns print publications and College event collateral.
- Capture edit and produce short-form and promotional video content for social media campaigns Open Days and internal communications.
- Create animations and motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling across Canterburys channels.
- Prepare files for print production and digital publishing ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Manage relationships with print suppliers overseeing the print process and proofing to ensure high-quality accurate production of college materials.
- Manage the digital asset library.
- Contribute to the design and visual presentation of major publications including the yearbook and College magazine.
- Proactively suggest creative concepts layouts and video opportunities.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Formal Design Qualifications Advanced Adobe Suite Canva After Effectsor similar.
- Experience with Canva and digital design for social media and campaigns.
- Strong design aesthetic with an excellent eye for layout typography and visual hierarchy.
- Demonstrated experience in video capture editing and post-production for social and promotional content.
- An entrepreneurial spirit ability to innovate and imagine new ways of working and make an impact.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
- Formal qualifications in Graphic Design Visual Communication or a related field.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign Premiere Pro After Effects).
