Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The US Exports team is looking for a US Exports Logistics Manager to function as an owner of delivering against commercial targets and driving innovative improvements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable analyzing large data sets to find root causes while developing plans of action across the cross functional team to improve state of the business. This role will collaborate different partners globally a Total Cost of Ownership approach is key to success.
Key Activities
- Support global procurement with the annual freight RFP ($55 mm). Come to the table with unique strategic views on carrier sourcing strategies with a balance of cost and service. A Total Cost approach is a must!
- Lead on-time to delivery KPI for all of US Exports. Understand what is the root cause and develop action plans to mitigate future impact. Must work with urgency with our cross functional partners to put action plans in place. Have a strategic view that balances short term solutions and long term sustainable goals.
- Own operational relationships with our Ocean Carrier drayage providers freight forwarders (30 suppliers) to improve service critical metrics to our final customers. Drive data driven decision making across cross functional teams and the carrier base
- Work closely S&OPs Export Manager to improve forecast accuracy and order smoothing across the business to reduce inconsistency in the supply chain
- Be a driver in our International Zone digital transformation strategy. Support projects to reduce manual data updates improve shipment visibility both prior to shipment and in transit and increases our speed to action as a team.
- Ensure our warehouses are executing against the export specific requirements including but not limited to shelf life checks heat treated pallets. Drive action with our warehousing operations leads to ensure execution across the 100 US KHC owned and 3PL run sites.
- Balance the needs of the worldwide Kraft Heinz zones. You will be in constant contact with the zones across the globe to communicate US export performance impact to the Business Units. Own solutions to performance gaps.
- Constantly analyze the total cost of ownership based on the incoterms and drive cost efficiencies within the total end to end supply chain.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Global Seafreight team to ensure tender ratecard and carrier contracts are up to date
- Collaborate with Export Finance to gain visibility on ops cost (VLC) and perform reviews for efficiency opportunities
- Work with Accounts Payable to maintain timely carrier invoice payments and avoid credit issues
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in Logistics Transportation or Supply Chain Background
- Proven track record of managing vendors carriers and 3PL providers
- Experience with international shipping domestic transportation customs and trade regulations is preferred
- Experience with contract management a plus
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Leadership capability with experience direct/indirect team management and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in SAP Tableau and PowerBI
- Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office Sharepoint Excel based trackers etc
- TCO (Total cost ownership) mentality with commitment to continuous improvement
- Proven track record of success
- Good in English proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$102100.00 - $127600.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors
