About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Technology Services Manager to lead our South Australian Technology Services team across our Adelaide & regional sites.
In this leadership role youll ensure ABCs content creators technical teams and support staff have the tools and responsive support they need to do their best work every day.
This is more than a management role its your opportunity to shape the way technology services the ABCs diverse content creators across the state and contribute nationally to the future of broadcast technology.

What Youll Do
- Lead and inspire the South Australian Technology Services team to deliver high-quality cost-effective technology support services.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture grounded in trust clarity and shared goals.
- Oversee service delivery and proactively improve performance capability and resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with local and national stakeholders to deliver support for broadcast and digital systems.
- Drive change management and ensure clear people-first communication across projects and teams.
- Plan and manage state staffing facilities and budgets to support smooth day-to-day operations and significant support in multiple project activities.
- Be the voice of SA Technology Services at a national level influencing direction championing excellence and steering future-facing solutions.
About You
Youre a natural leader who combines technical depth with a strong commitment to service and people. You bring:
- Impeccable leadership & communication skills with extensive experience managing operations/technology teams service desk or technical support staff. Broadcast or media industry experience is strongly desired.
- High level customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders and service providers.
- Strong experience with IT service frameworks (e.g. ITIL) operations resource planning and team development.
- A passion for inclusive customer-focused service in complex demanding environments.
- Excellent communication skills especially when translating complex tech into clear ideas for a broad audience.
- Strategic thinking a calm approach to problem-solving and confidence managing multiple priorities.
- Relevant qualifications and a future-focused mindset.
