Job Description

Position Summary:
- Perform basic non-invasive cardiac procedures in the cardiovascular department. Performs all duties of an EKG Technician
- Performs cardiac stress testing on patients with knowledge of different stress protocols
- Applies Holter monitors and Event Recorders sets up computerization of the scanner
- Interacts with Cardiologist and physicians as necessary for completion of the procedure
- Performs other duties as directed
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Cardiographic Tech (CCT) or be certification eligible (Must become certified within one year)
- CPR Certification required
Experience:
- Preferred-EKG or patient care experience preferred
- Preferred-Associates degree in health related field
- Medical Assistant with cardiac experience
