Located 20km west of Sydney on Dharug country with a population of 240000 residents Cumberland City Council is the fourth most populous Local Government Area in Greater Sydney. The Bookings and Community Centres team are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day bookings and management of Councils community buildings staffed community centres sports fields and open space facilities.
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate person to join the Bookings and Community Centres team in providing high quality customer service to residents and user groups for Councils bookable community spaces. The position is responsible for for the day to day booking management of the Councils community building facilities Council managed recreational facilities and other facilities as required. This role is also required to work out of and promote our Staffed Community Centres and Bookable Spaces to the wider community creating opportunities for increase in utilisation.
The duties of the position include the provision of information to internal and external stakeholders regarding councils facilities and assisting with any issues that may arise.

Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
What youll need to have for this role:
