Job Description
Job Title: Network Design Engineering Support Specialist
Type:W-2 Contract ONLY
Location:Onsite in Scottsdale AZ
Pay:$55.00 - $61.00 per hour with limited benefits
***No C2C we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED***
Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work if desired (9/80 schedule)
Geologics is currently seeking a Network Design Engineering Support Specialistin ourScottsdale AZ location to design and plan network systems as well as provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
Youll deliver specific detailed information for hardware and software selection implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs including present and future capacity requirements. Using your extensive network knowledge youll coordinate third party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoot problems with department users and department network administrators.
Well rely on you to maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing such as routers multiplexers hubs bridges and gateways etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- US Citizen with he ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Requires a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree with 3 years of job-related experience.
- Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields
- Proficient understanding and application of engineering principles concepts practices and standards
