Job Description
Join a dynamic software engineering team at Resideo that designs and develops mission-critical systems supporting life safety signaling and messaging in a public cloud environment. As aBack Office Engineer II you will play a key role in expanding our cloud infrastructure while ensuring its reliability availability and disaster recovery. This position offers the opportunity to innovate collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to systems that make a real difference in peoples lives.
JOB DUTIES:
- Work as part of Agile / Scrum team.
- Work with Product owners on estimations.
- Implement scalable resilient system components.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to maintain high availability.
- Support deployment and integration of new features and updates.
- Provide Level 3 support for cloud-based life safety systems ensuring 24x7x365 availability.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 2 years of software development experience
- Working experience utilizing tools such as C# (.NET Core) Java C and/or Python
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment including on-call rotations
WE VALUE:
- Strong critical thinking problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such asAzure or AWS
- Knowledge of containerization technologies ().
- Experience with messaging technologies (RabbitMQKafkaService Bus IOT-HUB)
- API Development experience
- Working knowledge ofTest-Driven Development (TDD)
